#iPadPro2 #Tablet – iPad Pro 2 Release Date Rumors: Release to Happen in Spring 2017? : Apple could release the iPad Pro 2 in Spring 2017. It is reported that its production will begin at the same time as the release of the iPhone 7. The new iPad Pro is expected to be powered by the next generation A10X processor.
Apple is currently working on a new processor and it is supposed to be ready by the end of this year. If these rumors are true, then the release could happen in Spring 2017. However, there is no solid information available yet.
Recently, Apple Insider reported that an anonymous tipster has sent them a set of pictures. The photos are claimed to have originated from within a Chinese supplier. The same source has claimed that the production will begin in September.
The photos show an iPad with model number MH1C2CD/F. This number is not assigned to any current or discontinued model, though it does follow Apple’s usual numbering scheme for its 12.9-inch iPad Pro. However, the website has not confirmed the authenticity of the images.
The photos show the tablet’s settings screen in Chinese. The device includes a 12GB onboard storage. It is believed that the device could be a prototype or a pre-production device.
The device is running iOS 10 beta that Apple has released to its developers this month. No more details are provided by Apple Insider.
Other than an A10X processor, the new iPad Pro could be fitted with an enhanced camera. It may also borrow the True Tone display technology from the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
The next-gen iPad Mini will most probably feature pressure sensitive 3D touch screen as it is already being used in current iPhones. Apple could introduce the lightning port in iPad Pro 2 as it is already expected in the iPhone 7 and the iPad Mini 5.
Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly working on the iPad Mini 5. So, if the company is even working on an iPad Pro 2, it is highly likely that the company will not release it in 2016 to avoid a collision with the iPad Mini 5. Source: thebitbag
