#GalaxyS7 #Galaxy Note7 – Samsung Galaxy S7 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 – Samsung has released its Galaxy S7 flagship in March 2016 and now, it’s preparing to announce its Galaxy Note 7 handset. Today we will compare these two devices and let you decide which one of them suits your needs.
Displays and Designs
The Galaxy S7 has a super AMOLED display of 5.1-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 577 ppi and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The Galaxy Note 7 will have a bigger super AMOLED display of 5.7-inch that will be curved on both sides and will support the same resolution, but which will result in a lower pixel density of 515ppi. Both devices have a similar design: glass back and metal frame, which was introduced on the Galaxy S6.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The Galaxy S7 has been released in two variants:
– one that has a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM;
– another one has an Exynos 8890 Octa chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and a quad-core Mongoose CPU clocked at 2.3GHz, a Mali-T880 MP12 graphics card and 4GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 7 will also be released in two variants, as follows:
– one will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB or 6GB of RAM;
– another one will feature an Exynos 8893 chipset, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.6GHz and a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.6GHz, a Mali-T880 MP12 graphics card and 4GB or 6GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S7 has been released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, which you can expand up to 256GB using a microSD card. On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 7 will be released in three internal storage variants of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, but you will be able to expand it up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Both handsets sport a primary camera of 12MP with OIS, LED flash, phase detection autofocus, geo-tagging, face detection, panorama, auto HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP.
The Galaxy S7 comes with a non-removable battery of 3000 mAh, which is less powerful than the 4000 mAh battery that the Galaxy Note 7 will come with. Source:neurogadget
