#Microsoft #SurfaceBook2 – Microsoft Surface Book 2 release date, news, rumored specs: New FCC leaks hint at upcoming entry’s keyboard; may include 4K display : The next entry in the favorited Microsoft Surface Book is starting to get its much-needed boost. This time around, it’s a leak that might very well be signaling that the upcoming iteration is now literally in the works.
The latest leak is in the form of a Surface-branded keyboard and mouse, courtesy of the FCC. Furthermore, the news outlet has suggested that Microsoft is set to launch “something” this year. Indeed, this device might be the new Surface Book as the company was previously aiming for a modular element based on its patents from August.
In addition, the filing has shown a computer that has “stackable” components and with provisions for random access memory (RAM), storage, sensors and a powerful graphics card. Also, it hinted at its goal to lay the device flat for stylus usage.
More significantly, the leak from FCC suggests a grey keyboard along with chiclet keys. The keyboards are also equipped with a three-button mouse. Likewise, an ergonomic keyboard may surprise its users as it is rumored to be on the way.
Now, while Microsoft has not confirmed these to be officially attached to Microsoft Surface Book 2, it would just be odd, even on the company’s standards, to release these technologies separately.
But if rumors are to be taken seriously, the leaks are just as timely as they could be as the firm is planning to unveil a slew of devices and major updates come 2017. Microsoft Surface Book 2 is speculated to come with 4K display, Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1 ports.
Moreover, the upcoming device is rumored to be sporting a powerful graphics processing unit (GPU) that would allow it to support the fad that is virtual reality (VR). Microsoft Surface Book 2 is slated to get released in 2017 along with the new Microsoft Surface Phone and Windows 10’s major update. Source:christiandaily
