#MicrosoftSelfie #AppsMicrosoft Selfie app now available for Android users from the Google Play Store : Last December, the Microsoft Selfie app was launched in the App Store for iOS users. Similar to the Lumia Selfie app for phones running on Windows, the app uses algorithms and various data that it detects itself (such as age and gender of the subject) to make a selfie look better.

Some Android users might have spent the last 11 months hoping and praying that a version of the app would be found in the Google Play Store. Today, that wish came true.

According to Microsoft, the app can take average selfies and change them into “enhanced, natural” ones. The app also comes with twelve filters that can be used on selfies to make changes to them.

The Microsoft Selfie app is free in the Google Play Store. To download and install the app on your iOS or Android phone, click on the appropriate link (iOS|Android).

Microsoft also produced a short video that shows some ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs to give you an idea how Microsoft Selfie works. To view the video, simply click on the video at the top of the story. Source: phonearena
