The device realizes Microsoft’s ambition of showcasing a high-end smartphone running on Windows 10. The Alcatel Idol 4S also includes a VR headset.

Windows Central revealed that the Alcatel Idol 4S features a quad-core Snapdragon 820 2.15GHz chipset, and a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED Dragontrail 2.5D Glass display with 180-degree viewing. It also has 64GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD card, and 4GB of RAM.

The Alcatel Idol 4S also features a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash, and a 8-megapixel front shooter with LED flash. The phone can record 4K videos at 30fps and 1080P videos at 60 FPS. It runs on a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0.
