#XboxOne #Software – New Xbox One System Software Update Fixes Cortana, Messaging, Other Features [VIDEO] : The Xbox One Preview Program update has been publicized for those who are members, and it has a scheduled rollout of 6PM PDT/ 9 PM EDT to enrolled consoles. This update will address issues about the device’s numerous features just like Messaging, Cortana, and Virtual Keyboard.
The update will instantly download once the console’s Instant On option is enabled, or the update could be manually executed through the option All Settings > System > Console Info & Updates.
The updates fixed the console’s Messaging feature by informing the user as to why they could not send messages, and directly sends the report of the problem to Xbox Support.
Cortana, its speech recognition feature, was updated for better voice command recognition. Users from France, Italy, Germany, and Spain could use this feature via the Cortana app, which can be accessed in the My Games and Apps drawer. Field data is collected from users for the improvement of Cortana. Groove Music is also expected not to crash once Cortana is used, according to Windows Central.
The issues with the Narrator have also been resolved through this update, since OneGuide crashes once Narrator is active during its launch. The Virtual Keyboard’s problem in stopping recognition input has also been fixed. The Detailed Network Statistics page in Settings will no longer appear blank once Xbox Live will be having outage.
