The speculations and leaks on the upcoming flagship are suggesting that the phone would bring best specs with some advanced features to pull more customers to its line.

The Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Book are a huge hit and tech enthusiasts were anticipating that the Microsoft Surface Phone will be released this year. But Microsoft has announced recently that this year the company is not focusing on the Surface Phone, as reported by Christian Today.

Even though the company has not yet confirmed any details, Microsoft Surface Phone could be launched in a press event that is scheduled for April 2017. Surface Phone is expected to be the turning point of Windows-based smartphones that will basically ditch out a huge success achieved by Android and iOS.

In addition, the upcoming phone is anticipated to have three new size variants, 8GB of RAM coupled with 512GB internal storage capacity that is powered by Intel Kaby Lake and 20MP Carl Zeiss back camera.

The upcoming device is expected to come with fingerprint scanner embedded in an AMOLED screen display of 1440 x 2560 resolution that is similar to Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8. Surface Phone is also rumored to be fitted with Type C USB port for easy external connections and the data transfers according to some speculations.
