‘Microsoft Surface Pro 5’ Fresh Rumors Emerge: Release Date, Tech Specs

‘Microsoft Surface Pro 5’ Fresh Rumors Emerge: Release Date, Tech Specs : Microsoft Surface Pro 5 still hasn’t been released, and fans are waiting. Microsoft is letting in some high expectations for its upcoming tablet device, and you’re going to want to buy this device after you hear what the latest tech specs rumors say. We also have an idea about the release date of the device.

Regarding the release date, there is a very hot rumor according to which the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is going to be released in January 2017. This is early, and many other stories speculate a release date somewhere around the second quarter of 2017.

For reference, the Surface Pro 3 was released in May 2014 so Microsoft could very well revolve around that date. This is a critical device, so Microsoft will ensure that they won’t screw this up. The release date will come at an ideal time and will probably affect Apple’s release dates since it’s the main competition with Microsoft.

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Tech Specs

Now speaking of hardware, the Surface Pro 5 is speculated to have a 12.3-inch display, USB Type-C with 256 GB of storage space, 16 GB of RAM and Windows 10 Redstone 2 out of the box. Seeing the battery issues on the Surface Pro 3 we can expect a huge Surface Pro 5 battery upgrade but there are no rumors on this.

The processor is an interesting tale, though, as the Surface Pro 5 is speculated to feature Intel Skylake or Kaby Lake, either of which has incredible performance.

Coupled with so much RAM, the performance should be insane, and we can’t wait to try it out once it gets officially released. Perhaps we’ll see a new tablet earlier than we anticipate if Microsoft does a good job.
