#Apple #Nike – Apple And Nike Team Up Brought Forth This Semi-New Product : Apple and Nike first put their heads together in a collaborative project for the tech company’s smartwatch series in 2016. The two brands came up with a smart sports watch with improved fitness-related features. It also had an exclusive Nike running app plus two run-oriented watch face designs. To boot, the sports edition even sold for the same price as the standard version of the product line.

This 2017, the sports company’s creative arm for collaborations with top-tier brands teamed up with Apple once again. The longtime partners took to the drawing board and came up with the Apple Watch NikeLab. Their new brainchild is essentially similar to what came out of their previous joint effort, with a few changes.

This time, Apple and Nike’s redesigned wrist accessory comes with a Space Gray casing coupled with a Light Bone/Black band. Mashable also points out that this change gives the device a more casual feel compared to Apple Watch Nike+. However, despite the fancy name and the new-colored band, nothing else is new here.

Inside the aluminum case of the NikeLab smartwatch is the same hardware found in other Apple Watch Series 2 members. It will still come preloaded with the same exclusive features its predecessor had such as the app, special Siri commands and watch faces, Engadget writes. And to give consumers a choice, it will be available in two sizes: 38mm and 42mm. Further, the sports watch will have an inscription that says “NikeLab Innovators x Innovation.”

This is not likely appeal to the market at large, but only to the staunchest Apple and Nike fans who dig the sports watch’s new look. However, there are two other things that set this particular device from other editions. It will be available for purchase for a limited period of time only. On top of that, only Nike’s online store, NikeLab shops, and Apple’s Isetan, Japan pop-up store will carry the new edition.

The limited edition sports watch will drop on Apr. 27. Although the launch date is already next week, no pricing details have been forthcoming from either Nike or Apple.source: itechpost
